How to Register to SSS Online (My.SSS Account)

The new SSS Online Registration process exclusive for SSS members was made even easier than ever before. It is simpler, less needed data entries and provides more validation options. Whether you are techy or not, this guide was made in simpler words and more detailed in order for everybody to understand and learn how to register to SSS Online.

The Philippine Social Security System (SSS) made an online portal called My.SSS that provides exclusive access to the member’s important records. This means, SSS members don’t need to go to the SSS branch to check if the employer remits contribution monthly, or check if there are discrepancies in the monthly contributions, or check the loan balance. Members can just log-in to their My.SSS Online Account, then check everything from there.

This is what you want to do and what you are doing right now. This is a guide on how to create your SSS Online Account given that you are already a member.

There are few things you need to prepare in order to have a smooth registration. You need an active email address and SSS number/UMID Card CRN. The active email address is important since SSS will send a validation message as well as activation link through email. The SSS Number/UMID Card CRN is also needed to be entered in the application form.

How to Register to SSS Online

1. Go to SSS Website

Open your web browser (Internet Explorer is recommended but Google Chrome or Firefox would be fine) and go to the official website of SSS – www.sss.gov.ph. Then, click the “Click here” button at the right side corner of the page positioned under the words written: “Not yet registered in My.SSS?“.

2.  Select a Validation Option

The next step would be to chose one validation options which includes the following:

• Savings Account Number / Citibank Cash Card / UBP Quick Card / UMID – ATM Saving Account Number Registered in SSS
• Mobile Number Registered in SSS
• UMID CARD
• Employer ID Number / Household Employer ID Number
• Payment Reference Number / SBR No. / Payment Receipt Transaction Number

The easiest option is the UMID Card where just have to enter either the your UMID Card PIN or your mother’s maiden name. The Mobile Number Registered in SSS is also an easy validation option, just enter the mobile number in the application form in the next step.

3. Accomplish the SSS Online Registration Form

In this step, let’s take for example that you chose the UMID Card Validation Option in the previous step. You need to fiill up the blank entries where the required one’s marked by * should not be missed. Then, enter either the UMID CARD Pin Code or Mother’s Maiden Name reported in the E6 – UMID Card Application Form. If you chose other validation option in the previous step like Mobile Number, you just need to enter the mobile number used to register in SSS.

After accomplishing the registration form, type the human text characters and mark check the “I accept the Terms of Service“. Then, click the submit button. You should see on your screen the submission message with words written that you have to wait for an email notification after 30 minutes. Click the Ok button and wait.

4. Check Your Email

After 30 minutes, you should receive an email from SSS Web Registration whether the transaction is successful or not. If it is successful, click on the provided activation link in the email. Next, input your password and click submit button.

If after clicking the activation link and the webpage is blank, point the mouse at shield icon positioned at the upper left corner of the browser window (check image above). It should display a warning message but the Official SSS Website is safe so click Load Unsafe Scripts then you should see the password form.

5. Log-in to your Fresh SSS Online Account

After creating the password, you should be logged in. If not, go back to the SSS Website Homepage, enter your User ID(found in your email) and Password in Member Login corner and hit Enter button.
